Lower back pain is a nuisance and anyone who has ever had to live with the pain; understands how miserable it can be. However lower back pain can be avoided when you know how to prevent the pain from occurring.

Tips To Prevent Back Pain:

Good Posture: Anyone who wants to really avoid lower back pain; then they have to become more concerned with their posture. When you take the time to recognize how you are standing and sitting then it is easier to recognize the
tension in your muscles when it begins to occur. Having great posture will also prevent you from straining the muscles in your lower back as well.

Sleeping Position: People do not realize that sleeping in the wrong position may be one of the main reasons that they are suffering from back pain. Research shows that people who tend to sleep on their back are the one’s who suffer from lower back pain the most. Try sleeping on your side as this position tends to minimize the spinal stress by helping to straighten the lumbar curve.

If you find it difficult to stay on your side during the night then you may want to try placing a pillow under your knees. The pillow will help provide relief to your back during the back by flattening the lumbar
curve.

Lifting Items: If you find yourself having to lift heavy items throughout the day; then you want to pay attention to the way that you are lifting them. Avoid lifting heavy items with your back always lift with your knees and keep your back straight through the entire motion.
